Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and MB „Tik inovacijos“, trading as TIKi (“we”, “us”), the operator of the Namų Receptai app (“the app”, “the service”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. The service
Namų Receptai lets you save, organise and manage home recipes — including grouping them into recipe books and categories, capturing recipes by voice, generating illustrative dish images, and sharing recipe books with people you invite. Features may be added, changed or removed over time.
3. Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (and at least 13).
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the recipes, images, text and other content you add (“your content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process and display your content solely to operate and provide the app to you — including passing content to the sub-processors described in our Privacy Policy to deliver features you request (such as transcription or image generation), and displaying your content to people you invite to a shared recipe book.
You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to use and share it. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that may remain temporarily in backups.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for anything unlawful, or to infringe others’ rights.
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, or violates someone’s intellectual property or privacy.
- Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the app or its systems.
- Misuse AI features to generate prohibited, misleading or infringing material.
- Resell or commercially exploit the app without our permission.
6. AI-generated content & voice features
The app offers optional AI-assisted features: generating a photo of a dish from a recipe, and transcribing voice recordings into text. These use third-party AI services and are provided on a best-effort basis:
- AI-generated images are illustrative and may not accurately depict the actual dish, ingredients or results.
- Voice transcriptions may contain errors — please review them before relying on them.
- You are responsible for how you use AI-generated output.
Recipes are provided by users, not by us. We do not verify recipes and are not responsible for the outcome, safety, or dietary/allergen suitability of any recipe. Always use your own judgement when cooking.
7. Third-party services
The app relies on third-party providers (for example for hosting, authentication, AI transcription and image generation). Your use of the app is also subject to those providers’ terms where applicable. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
8. Availability & changes
We work to keep the app available and reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features (or the whole service) at any time. Where reasonable, we’ll give notice of significant changes.
9. Our intellectual property
The app itself — its software, design, branding, name and logo — belongs to MB „Tik inovacijos“ and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don’t grant you any rights in our brand or software beyond using the app as intended.
10. Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will meet your requirements or that content (including recipes and AI-generated output) will be accurate or reliable.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MB „Tik inovacijos“ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify MB „Tik inovacijos“ against claims arising from your content or your misuse of the app in breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Termination
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or use the app unlawfully. On termination, the licences you granted end, subject to residual backups as described above.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Lithuania, unless local law grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
