Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

The short version: your recipes belong to you. We collect the minimum needed to run the app, we never sell your data, and you can delete your account and everything in it at any time.

1. Who we are

Namų Receptai (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a home-recipe app operated by MB „Tik inovacijos“, trading as TIKi (“the company”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data when you use the app. For any privacy question, contact us at info@tiki.lt.

MB „Tik inovacijos“ is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to the Namų Receptai mobile app and this website. It does not cover third-party services you may reach through links, or the separate privacy practices of Apple, Google or other providers when you use their own products.

3. Data we collect

We collect only what the app needs to work:

Account data

Content you create

Access to your camera and microphone is used only for the features above (scanning and photographing recipes; dictating them) and only when you use them.

Technical & diagnostic data

We do not collect precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or run third-party analytics/ad tracking.

4. How we use your data

We do not use your recipes or content for advertising, and we do not sell your data.

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on:

6. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers (“sub-processors”) to run the app. They process data only on our instructions and for the purposes below:

ServicePurposeData involvedRegion
Supabase Cloud database, authentication and file storage — the backend that stores your account and recipes. Account details, recipes and recipe content, photos you upload, usage metadata. EU
Apple (Sign in with Apple) Optional sign-in method. A private-relay email or Apple identifier, and your name on first sign-in. EU / US
Google (Sign in with Google) Optional sign-in method. The name and email address associated with your Google account. EU / US
OpenAI Turning your input into a recipe (parsing dictated, scanned or imported recipes) and generating an illustrative dish photo when you ask for one. Voice transcript text, a scanned recipe photo, imported webpage content, or recipe text — used to produce structured recipe data or an image. No account identifiers. US
ElevenLabs Transcribing a recipe you dictate by voice into text (primary provider for Lithuanian). The audio recording you make. The original audio is not stored by us after transcription. US
Sentry Diagnosing crashes and technical errors so we can fix them. Diagnostic data only: device/OS type, app version, error traces, and an anonymous account ID. No email, name, IP address or recipe content. EU / US
GitHub Handling the bug/feedback reports you choose to send from inside the app. Only what you submit: your description, category, app version, device/OS model and an optional screenshot. US

Optional AI features are only invoked when you ask for them. If you never record a voice note or generate a dish image, no data is sent to those providers.

7. When we share data

We share personal data only in these limited cases:

We never sell your personal data or share it for third-party advertising.

8. How long we keep data

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and content from our systems, and request deletion from sub-processors, except where we must retain limited records to comply with the law. Backups are cycled out on a rolling basis.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email info@tiki.lt.

10. Deleting your account & data

You can delete your account directly in the app (Settings → account), which removes your recipes, images and account details. You can also request deletion by emailing info@tiki.lt. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

11. Children

Namų Receptai is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. International transfers

Some sub-processors process data outside the EEA (for example in the United States). Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data.

13. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls and row-level security so that you can only access your own recipes and the recipe books shared with you. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice in the app.
